These terms are the agreement between you and PlainJob when you use plainjobapp.com and the PlainJob app. By creating an account, you agree to them.

Who we are

PlainJob is run by Nicholas Lipari, a sole proprietor in New York ("PlainJob", "we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@plainjobapp.com.

Getting paid by your customers

When online payments launch, your customers' card and bank payments will be processed by Stripe and paid out to your bank by Stripe, under Stripe's own agreement with you. PlainJob adds no fee on top of Stripe's and never holds your money. Disputes over work or payments are between you and your customer.

What you can't do

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules or doesn't pay. If we can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to download your data.

No guarantees

We work hard to keep PlainJob running and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is", without guarantees that it will always be available or free of errors. Keep your own copies of anything important; the spreadsheet download makes that easy.

Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, PlainJob isn't responsible for lost profits, lost business, lost data or other indirect losses. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to what you paid PlainJob in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

If we make an important change, we'll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use PlainJob after that means you accept the new terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New York.
