A Jobber alternative for 1–3 person crews
Short answer: if you're one to three people and mostly need to quote, schedule and invoice, PlainJob does that for $39 a month flat. Jobber's lowest plan for a team of 2–5 is $199 a month billed monthly. Jobber does a lot more, and that's what you pay for.

Why a small crew might switch
- The price doesn't jump when you hire. One person or three, it's $39. With per-plan team sizes, adding your first helper can move you to a plan four times the price.
- Less to learn. Home shows what's owed, which quotes are waiting and what's on today. Most people send their first quote in a few minutes.
- No payment markup. When card payments launch, you pay Stripe's standard fee and nothing else.
- Your price is locked. It won't go up while you stay subscribed.
When Jobber or Housecall Pro is the better pick
- You need QuickBooks to sync on its own.
- You want automated follow-ups, two-way texting or an AI receptionist.
- You have more than 3 people, or plan to soon.
- You need online card payments today. PlainJob adds them at launch.
We'd rather you pick the right tool than switch twice.
